Toyota Kirloskar: an integrated media approach, on slides
An agency approach document for Toyota Kirloskar, built so a media plan reads as one argument rather than a stack of tactics.
The challenge
An approach document has to survive a room full of brand managers who have seen a hundred of them. The material covered media outreach, regional launches, campaign phasing and measurement, and in its working form each of those sat in its own table. Read end to end it was a list of tactics, not a case for a strategy, and the pieces that mattered most were the ones buried deepest.
The approach
The deck was rebuilt around Toyota's own red and white, with a strict grid that lets a dense media table and a full-bleed campaign image live on the same page without either one shouting. Every recurring structure, the phasing timeline, the outreach matrix, the channel breakdown, was drawn as a proper diagram rather than typed as a table, so the shape of the plan is visible before a word of it is read.
Outcome
- A single approach document covering strategy, media outreach and phasing
- Recurring structures drawn as reusable diagrams the team could refill for later rounds
- Brand-accurate throughout, so it reads as Toyota's document rather than an agency's
