Record High: a pitch deck with one job per slide
An investor pitch deck structured so each slide carries exactly one argument.
The challenge
The first version was a good company explained defensively: every slide answered three questions at once, so none of them landed, and the ask arrived after the reader had already stopped counting.
The approach
One claim per slide, in the order an investor asks the questions. Problem, then the thing that changed, then the product, then the numbers, then the ask. Type does the hierarchy and the charts are cut down to the single comparison each one exists to make.
Outcome
- A deck sequenced the way the questions actually get asked
- One argument per slide, with the evidence under it
- Charts reduced to the comparison that matters
What we did
