Portugal fan posters: a supporter set
A fan poster collection built on the colour and the type, not on the photography.
The challenge
Football fan art leans on player photography, which is the one asset a designer usually cannot license. The set had to feel unmistakably of that team without depending on a picture of anyone.
The approach
The kit colours do the identification, big geometric type does the shouting, and the composition borrows the energy of terrace graphics rather than of a press photo. Each poster is a different arrangement of the same three ingredients.
Outcome
- A recognisable set built without licensed photography
- Colour and type carrying the identification
- Three ingredients rearranged into a coherent series
What we did
- Poster Design, Visual Storytelling, Typography
