PES University: an institution presented to students

Institutional presentation design aimed at the people deciding where to study, not at the institution itself.

The challenge

University material tends to be written for the university: rankings, history, departments, in that order. A prospective student is asking a different set of questions and the deck answered them late or not at all.

The approach

The order was inverted. What you study, where you live, what happens after, with the institutional credentials supporting those rather than opening. Campus photography carries the feel and the type stays large enough to read across a hall.

Outcome

• Reordered around what a prospective student asks first
• Credentials used as support rather than as the opening
• Sized and set for a hall as well as a handout
