A federal growth plan a CEO can present
A phased federal growth strategy laid out so the plan, the timing and the ask are readable in one pass.
The challenge
A growth plan with phases, owners and dependencies is a project schedule pretending to be a presentation. Written out, the three-, six- and nine-month horizons blurred into one long list and the decisions needing approval sat inside paragraphs.
The approach
The phases became the architecture. Each horizon gets a colour and a recurring layout, dependencies are drawn between them, and every phase ends on what is being asked for. A reader can stop after the timeline and still know what is being proposed.
Outcome
- Three horizons expressed as one continuous, readable timeline
- The ask stated explicitly at the end of each phase
- A layout set reusable for the next planning cycle
