Battery Smart: a swap network explained in one picture

Presentation design for a battery swapping network, where the model is the thing that needs explaining.

The challenge

Battery swapping is an unfamiliar model, and the deck was describing the business before the reader understood the loop it runs on. The economics could not land while the mechanics were still unclear.

The approach

The swap loop is drawn first, as a single diagram, and the rest of the deck hangs off it: unit economics, network growth and driver experience each attach to a point on that loop the reader has already seen.

Outcome

• The swap loop drawn once and used as the deck spine
• Economics attached to the mechanics rather than stated apart from them
• A diagram the team can reuse outside the deck
